Where are you located?
We are located at 24 Spring Street in NYC, and will be opening more spaces soon—stay tuned!
What are your hours?
We open 30 minutes before the first class of the day, and close 30 minutes after the last class. You can check out our daily class schedule here.
What can I expect in your classes?
We have a few different class offerings, but within each one you’ll experience 50-minutes of powerful movement paired with great music. Click here to read more about our various classes.
I’ve never danced before, can I really take one of your classes?
The answer to that is a big YES! Know this, FORWARD__Space is a place where everyone is welcome—no matter your dance or fitness level! Beyond that, our instructors go out of their way to make every single person in the room feel good and offer up suggested modifications for those who need them.
What kind of music do you play?
All types! In any given class you may hear hip-hop, house, rock, soul, pop and more.
How old do you have to be to take a class?
The minimum age is 16.
What should I wear?
Anything you can move and sweat in! Most people wear workout clothes and sneakers.
How do I sign up?
Head on over to our class schedule, select the day and time you want to take class and follow the prompts.
Can I just drop in and take a class?
Of course! If you didn’t pre-book your class and there is space available, we can sign you up on the spot!
what is your waitlist policy?
If a class is full and you sign up, you will automatically be placed on the waitlist. If a spot opens up before the day of the class, you'll get an email that you've been placed in the class. Otherwise, show up to the class and we will start filling no-show spots 4 minutes before class starts.
Do I need to arrive early for classes?
We suggest showing up ten minutes before a class. This will give you time to sign in and stow your stuff in a locker.
If I show up late to class, will you still let me in?
Yes, we allow late entries up to 10 minutes after class has started. If there is a waitlist for a class, we will release spots 4 minutes prior to the class start time. To avoid your spot being given up, call us to let us know you are running late. As a reminder, our telephone number is (646) 370-6833.
What’s your cancellation policy?
If you cancel 12 hours or more before a class, we will credit your class back to you. For classes cancelled within a 12-hour window, we are unable to credit the class back.
Can I use my phone in class?
Snap all of the pics you want prior to the start of your sweat session. Once class starts no phone use is allowed. We also leave a little time at the end of class so you can record the combo for the 'gram!
Do you have showers?
We do not offer showers, but we have changing rooms, bathrooms, and a fully stocked beauty bar.
I purchased classes—Do they expire?
Class purchases do have an expiration date associated with them. BOGO and single class purchases expire 30 days after purchase, 5-packs expire 45 days after purchase, 10-packs expire 90 days after purchase, 20-packs expire 120 days after purchase, and 30-packs expire 180 days after purchase. This info is also listed in your receipt.
I love your merch! Can I buy it online?
At this time, all of our merch is available in-studio only. But we’ll let you know when we open an online shop.
